Marco Oliva

Marco Oliva has been selected by the College Council Awards Selection Committee as one of this year’s two Staff Members of the Year. The intent of the award is to recognize College employees who have gone above and beyond their responsibilities to help students and make Williams a great place for the student body. The Committee solicited the entire campus for nominations. Winners were selected from the nominations by a committee of last term’s College Council representatives from the class of 2009. All of the students who you have helped speak very highly of Marco’s contributions to the campus and cannot say enough about all he has done to help students. The Committee really appreciates everything Marco has done for the campus and selected him for this award in order to recognize his great work and contributions to the College community. Marco’s and the other winners’ names will be engraved on a plaque that hangs in the student activities suite, and they will be recognized at the first College Council meeting next fall. In addition, the student body was informed of the winners via email. This award has been awarded in the past, but it has not been given since 2002. Congratulations Marco!
