The current Saint Anthony Hall (CDE) building will be renovated to remove all residential components.  The kitchen and dining function will be relocated from the west wing to the east wing to serve programmatic needs and better utilize building spaces.  Additional classrooms, study spaces, and offices for faculty/staff will be developed in the space vacated by the residential component.  Restoration of the original finishes is planned where feasible.  Mechanical system and envelope upgrades are planned.  The work is anticipated to begin in the fall of 2018 with an estimated completion scheduled for the fall of 2019.

UPDATE:

The St. Anthony Hall project was initiated to better meet the needs of the graduate level program of the Center for Development Economics (CDE).  This project involved removal of residential aspects of the building, improved and expanded classroom, administrative, social spaces as well as expanded dining hall functions.  A mini-campus for the CDE program was completed which connects, via an exterior courtyard, the St. Anthony Hall Building to the newly constructed CDE Fellows Hall.  This project was completed in March, 2020.
