The Science Center Renewal Project includes design and construction for a new 178,000 square foot science building addition to the existing Unified Science Center. The south building consists of 77,000sqft housing research and teaching laboratories, shared equipment and shop support spaces, as well as faculty offices.  The project has achieved LEED Platinum Certification. Also included in this project are two new classrooms in Schow Library, Modulars, and the renovation of Bascom for offices, labs, and classrooms for Psychology and Math/Stats that are currently in use. The renovation of Biology labs in Thompson and Morley will also be completed in the summers of 2017, 2018 and 2019. The South Building project is currently slated to be complete in April of 2018 to allow for full use by the campus community starting in June.
